Security
A Security Check List was materialized during the course of Q3 and Q4 2006 incorporating topical issues facing today’s security concerns of the ever-changing seismic operations landscape. The List addresses General Subjects such as local laws/customs, permissions and insurances. Special Security Issues, e.g. political unrest, employee personal protection, crime factors, render focus on country and project specific. Security Procedures provide guidelines for general safety arrangements and personnel security screening, among other security activities.
The Group is in the final negotiation phase with International SOS, an integrated medical and security support provider with worldwide presence, to develop a contractual package of medical and security consultation.
SeaBird also employs private security firms, as the need arises, to further ensure the safety of our crews and the success of the surveys
