CASE Abyss
CASE Abyss® - efficient in operation from shallow to ultra-deep waters (3000m). Yet, compatible with the original CASE unit's basic modular architecture and Sensor Node design, it represents an enhancement in electronics performance, operational versatility and QC functionality.

The CASE Abyss is more compact than its predecessor, allowing huge numbers to be stored on the combined source and data recording vessel. The unit designed for both deepwater and shallower water use.
In order to save transit time during deepwater operations several CASE Abyss units are placed in a launch and recovery basket. Aided by an ROV the units are taken out, one by one, and installed on their respective, planned locations.
